apache .htaccess will work for lightpseed also
and santrex recently installed lightspeed on all servers
chmod is setting the permissions for files..
to do it.
in Cpanel file manager ..select the file and click permissions..and click the number you want (:

The VBseo installed fine , and the VBseo control pannel appear to me , but I can't do anything with it

before you configure the settings...give the config file the required permissions.. ( chmod)
then save the config..then change the permissions back to 644. (important)
