Oh.. Wow these people sound pretty awesome

Also there isn't a way to never being hacked.. If someone is clever enough + spends enough time trying to hack someone they more than like 80% chance will hack them

its only sites like google who dont get hacked because its always being updated and spent so much money on, I mean you can keylog someone ffs its not the hardest thing to do but good luck to these people

I support this as well, as I have never been hacked but I have watched people use these public exploits to do so on friendly sites.

well. i read the whole thread. Im confused.

they want to stop little punk idiots defacing sites. Great im up for that, but defacing sites themselves does not help. Basically its saying were going to stop you by doing what you do, but better?? We all agree little shits defacing sites is extremely annoying, but there are better ways of going about it.

For a start, and i would expect those with any intermediate level of experience to know already, no, a proxy doesnt completely hide you, all it does is make me work for an extra 5 minutes to find out who you really are. No, kaspersky, NOD, etc.. does not mean your safe, and no, a "strong password" dont mean i cant take over. The only way to truly be safe is by being cautious on what you click. So in an nut shell what im saying is that these "kids" can be taught a lesson without having to just be a "bigger and better" version of what you are fighting against.

Somewhere along the line the cause, and i support the theory, has got lost in translation, and all they have suceeded in doing is replicating what they are fighting against.

These ***** sound like the kinda rhetoric that just allows people who are the rich developers to make more bad code for crappy products and never fix crap. They are doing this to get their name and and show oh we can hack your ***** but we can keep quite about it so hire us to do your dirty work. Again Ass Hats award of the week goes to Anti-*****. To sum up their point "Keep your head in the sand and let bad insecure code propagate with out outsider questioning."

Even though the exploits are usually told to the software's company months usually in advance before they are publicly publish. The point of the threat of publishing is the FIX THAT ***** before some other less ethical *COUGH* RUSSIAN *COUGH* hackers finds out the same exploit and makes a playground of the worlds networks from it for fun and profit .

Anti-sec = lazy script kiddy coders who don't want to do more work so they are trying to scare people to allow themselves to stay lazy. BLOODY WANKERS!

I agree the use of someone elses exploit to call ur self a hacker is beyond stupid, and these people need to grow up, and play outside.

The sites that are getting hacked and posting here, are sites that use exploited software. For example IPB nulled. Which in fact is illegal, and once again exploited. The fact they get hacked by a script kiddies, sucks, but they should be ready for it.

No script kiddies, and alot of web masters get lazy, which in turn down the road will cause i guess a huge release of script kiddies or alot of damage to alot of servers.

I have to bow to the one that posted that picture, honestly, what he/she did was thought out and very skillful and deserve some credit, as many have said, eventually people will be pissed.

The point of publicly releasing exploits is to get them fixed. A lot of company's get lazy for example Microsoft, when they have a million projects to do, windows ME or XP now go on the back burner, they fix when they can. Releasing exploits publicly, tell Microsoft they better do something or their rep might go out the window.

whats wrong with owning whitehats that just take what the security scene has given them (exploits and other shit) and scaring normal people into buying there 'security' prodcuts/services?

so basically every warez site is under attack i suppose cuz don't every warez site have a hacking section? and i agree with this movement there shouldn't be so much hacking its sad they just click a button and think there so elite cuz they got your passwords or got into your forums/site but the bad thing is even if there doing a 'good thing' there the ones that will most likely end up locked up no matter what good they did you guys may say whats good about hacking i see it as erase exploits and tools for noobs to use and try to say there hacking gods i have been a victim of istealer for example it don't take any smarts to use it its sad how easy it is
