    Default DMCA problem

(now that i think about it, this might be in wrong section, related to my website so put it in webmaster discussion without thinking)
I put up a adult website ~10 days ago with filesonic links.
Got 500 UV yesterday, but now 90% of all files are removed due to DMCA.

Any way to avoid this happening this massivly?
All hentai and lolicon files was removed, kept all idol content.

Btw, also saw that all files at filesonic that another user posted on a different website was removed.

    Maybe changing filehost would work.

I think someone targetted me and reported everything or if filesonic is doing a purge. Becouse almost every kind of file was removed, for example:
    Top Celebrity Nude Scenes.
    Misc Hentai Images.
    Rodeo Videos.
Content from alot of different authors.
    Ops and ENF videos.
I think some of those might not even be theoretically possible to remove due to DMCA (especially Ops and ENF videos). Think it should generally req ownership to be showned for files to get removed.

Not sure if they work good against it, read some before but havent used them.
    Password protect files.
    Use names that isnt obvious.
Put bogus links and let users change them to correct (think hxxp would work not sure tho)

Is this the main reason for hxxp/coded urls? To protect files from file deletion? I never had this problem on forums but in one swoop all my files got removed on my blog.

Safelinking. (might be same result as hxxp/code, although DMCA bot might be able to see through hxxp)

Think i should password protect, change name and use safelinking.

Changing file host would be a great idea. I was having similar problem so I had to switch.

Someone doesn't like your site. There is usually no way unless you're posting content all under one company.

    It happens everyday.
It's probably not particularly YOUR file that they are targeting.

Lets say 10 people upload the EXACT same file.
Now 1 person gets his file reported.
    The filehost deletes that file.

    BUT

Because you all uploaded exactly the same file - WITHOUT changing the MD5, then ALL of your files got deleted automatically.

Since I've been changing the MD5's of my files, hardly any of mine get deleted.
I used to get emails from filehosts DAILY!! Now it's more monthly, or not at all.

I wrote a small article about it on my site, Link

Change md5 hash of files and if necessary rename rars. So for example if you posted: Resident Evil Afterlife, rename it to REA.

That's how file hosts work. Most people just remote upload or w.e so you get 100 of copies of same file. They receive report for just 1 of those 100, and all get deleted as they have same md5 hash.

There are sites on the net where content owners can pay for there content to be monitored and removed when found.

These companies have large lists of sites and trawl content on them, when some content they monitor is found dmca is sent to remove the links, or they have access to remove the links themselves.

Obscuring the post title and using random file-names should help

There are thousands of upload of the exact content. So renaming, or do anything that will single it out.
