yes one of my friend received this type of notice and they paid money to them. you take it seriousely i think and if you don't want to pay just use any other open source type community forum like SMF.. they have also nice features you can see on my site. and have also some converters to convert from vb to smf.

If you use premium forum software you should support and respect the developers enough and buy it. Looks real though, that said, you should be offshore anyway if running a warez site...

A lot of people have had emails using nulled vBulletin.

They added a hotlinked 1x1px image in the admin CP and the app people used to null the script didn't pick it up.

So get a licence (was going to happen sooner or later) or change domain.
