If I only have one vps on a node with no cpulimit, will a cpuunits setting of 1000 get the 100% full cores if I have a quad core dedi? I saw cpuunits is dependent on other containers but I only have one...

better assign

cpuunits 0 ( It works like unlimited. u can see full core speed on container itself)
cpunumber 4 ( assigns 4 core to container)

check openvz wiki for correct spelling of parameter and more info

Ah ok, I wasn't worried much about cpunumber cause I can see the all the cpus from inside the vps....
