Question about VPS performance

Hi I had a question about VPS. I'm thinking of purchasing a VPS for alot of things one of which includes downloading large files. I know downloading alot of large files on a RDP that are over are1.5gb puts alot of strain on the memory since it has to rebuild the files. Will a VPS w/ 4GB of ram be sufficient for me to run internet download manager to download these large files? I'd like to also use the VPS to host a wordpress. I'd also like to possbile run sborg on it also to automate a few things. Thanks in advance

just keep in mind VPS still a shared enviroment if you or another user abusing server resources you and other member will get affected.

If you plan on doing that all on one VPS I suggest going with a dedicated server, if that fits with your budget.

Running those high resource scripts will probably effect the speed of your Word Press blog.

I would run the word press blog on a VPS and the other things on a dedicated server.
