Where would I start for learning how to a script to go through facebook for friends?

I'm still fairly new to programming but where should I start on working my way towards learning how to make a bot run through facebook and add friends? What should it be in and where should it run?

It can be in normal programming c.. In can be in perl, php, coldfusion... You can do it in anything u just need to know how to do it..

C++ bots are usually big, but i recommend you JavaScript or python.
