How do I get visitors to register and be active in a new forum?

My website/blog is base on anime/figure news which is powered by Wordpress. I'm planning to get a license for Xenforo. (I know most of you guys, use nulled sciprt, but i'm on a normal hosting since my field is not related to warez unless I intent to make an anime download section)

So my question is, how do I get visitors to register and be active in a new forum? Most of my visitors are attracted to the mainpage, because of the latest news. 1000+ visitors per day and ranked number 1,798,644 worldwide in Alexa.

How can I attract them to register and be apart of the community.
Is there a way maybe to reward them, to make them active in a forum.

I'm doing a lot of research, and I don't want a forum board which isn't active. How are you able to get your forum board active? How do I get loyal members on it.

Well, i think you should make forum like: forum.youranimesite.com , make rankings and reword them with 1 anime series in 2 weeks or so. If you want your visitors to be active and stay on your board you have to do SEO on your pages, build links, social media optimization and so on, because the visitors that come from organic traffic (google traffic) they stay on your website and be loyal, because they searched for it, e.g.: anime series, and they love it. And the most important of all, make your website and content unique, try to get a professional them for your blog and forum, this way you'll get visitors to stay for sure.
