Hello KWWH and its members Recently im having a weird problem with my current WP blog hosted on a VPS The amount of CPU usage spikes whenever the site is opened and it rises to about 100+% many times , No idea whats going on The process which does this is /public_html/index.php Here is the screenshot when someone opens the site whats tte CPU usage http://i25.lulzimg.com/1d63a1.jpg Rating: 5

are you using a Autopost Plugin that catch rss feeds?!

It might be because of several things acting up. what you need to do is find out the exact thing causing issues.

If you have root access, login to the server using ssh and type "top" [without quotes]. It will list the top entities eating resources.
