its due to your template is not in English format, some of text contains Russian language and you using the char set that not support the Russian text so that problem is occurring

Use dreamwaver or any other editor to translate it (it will show you the original textthen you'll be able to know whats its saying)

Just make topnews.tpl and relatednews.tpl files in your template directory and you done!

just copy the files (topnews.tpl and relatednews.tpl) from default template and paste them in your template
