    Default Why browsers eating so much memory ?

    hey guys. i don't know why its happening but every browser i try to use they eat more than 700k memory. i was using firefox and firefox was eating 1000k of memory or sometimes 800k. wtf is wrong with browsers?

    flash told me chrome is good so we both switched back to google chrome. but i don't know why. chrome is same too.



    google chrome also eating 400k memory usage. why is that happening?

    K-meleon for the win.40k memory with 20 tabs open.Totally lightweight but its outdated for most sites.

    Dont know why but i switched from Firefox to Opera to Chrome.

    how many tab you have open and check which site is making your browser using all that memory

    For Firefox you should have less than 25 tabs opens if you have more it will eat more memory

    lol in firefox i just open 3-4 tabs 25 tabs ? lol

    Same here Aff. It was huge problem when I had my old PC way back with 512mb RAM, FF would eat like 200-300mb of RAM so it was super slow. I don't have that problem now with new computer but still I notice that if I have lot tabs + have my FF opened for quite a while usage goes up to 500-700mb RAM too.

    It could be cached data or w.e. If there was addon or way to flush unnecessary data from time to time that would be great.
