You can get good downloads from any type of download, as long as it is new and in demand.

Go for recent movie/game releases, the latest pricey software (Adobe!), and music albums on the Billboard 200 (billboard.com).

To my mind, Movies/TV-Shows/Games are the best ones.
But remember, that you need to be fast, and try to spread your Releases as fast as possible. ;-)

But you can also spread anything you want, you just need to be fast and it has to be new.

The following will bring you the most downloads:

There's some TV Shows that's released daily. You should upload ALL of these popular tv shows. If you don't know which shows that's popular, simply go to rlslog.net or w.e and then upload all shows that they are uploading. Keep in mind that they might forget to upload a show or two, they are also humans.

Applications will also bring you some decent hits, the only bad thing about these applications is that most of them are very small and they wont give you good rates on filehosts.

You can upload larger programs like adobe photoshop, they will bring you good hits to, you just need a place to dump/share them.

And of course, the main thing that would bring you lots of downloads is movies. But do not waste bandwith on all movies. Only upload popular movies, always check out the imdb rating before uploading the movie, and remember that TS and such crappy quality of new movies also gets an amazing amount of downloads.

If you want to upload porn, make sure it's porn from one of the big sites like Naughtyamerica, Brazzers, Bangbros, Realitykings w.e. Clips/movies from these sites will give you nice hits. Avoid clips from sites you've never even heard about before. Totally waste of bandwith.

These tips are for people who care to earn some money but I myself, when I used to upload I tried to do as many uploads as I could manage to do every single day. My goal was to upload as much as possible. I didn't care much about what I did upload as long as it was recently released and the downloaders was happy. So if you want to upload for fun and to please the downloaders, i'd recommend you get access to a torrent tracker and start sharing old stuff, old and rare stuff. It might not give you the same amount of downloads but it would make some downloaders really happy as most of this old stuff is very rare and hard to get hold on on filehosts these days.
