Several Broken Hard Drives

Any ideas on how to fix hard drives that just don't load?

I really want to get some files back from these babies.

A couple do the click of death/click repeatedly and another one makes some sort of grinding then click noise.

Any help is appreciated

click click of death... ive read if you stick it in a freezer for a few hours you can get like 15mins of magic power from it.

i havent tried personally but i learned it during my A+ prep class

U could try putting them in the fridge,if they are over heating when loading,it might work,but if it works it wont last for long,long enough to get some files tho.

You last hope would be sending them to one of those harddrive restore companies, they will do anything possible to restore your data. Downside: will be very pricy, but they do the job!

I hope this would be an example to everyone to use RAIDs and BackUps for important data!

My data isn't worth anything, it's just memories so I don't really wanna pay anything.

Most likely really hard to get 10mins , "dead"

Try Changing the data card of H.D.D and plug in as a portable device

it is hard to do that, if there is no data on your hard disk, i think better change another new HDD
