Is there a way to make a thread private?

I was wondering if there was a way to make a thread in vbulletin private?

I dont want to make the whole forum category private but I would like to know if i can make a certain thread in the forum private? like lets say i have a thread which has over 300+ games collection but i dont want guests to see that certain thread? is there a mod?

would this work on 3.8.5?

you can do it. Royal King did it to our forum. I think if you go to acp-forums and moderators-forum permissions

Actually I just realized you meant only one thread. I'm not sure how to do that, but I know how to make a section visible with certain user rights or to make the section completely invisible. I'm sure there's probably something for what you're talking about though.

Move the thread to a private forum untill its ready to move it back?

You cannot make a particular thread invisible to others.
But you can make a forum invisible to others and there you can put the threads which you can only see and can access.

Actually I remember a mod giving specific forum permissions to a thread in any forum section. I can't for the life of me remember the mod name..

It should work fine for 3.8.5, just back up all your files and such before trying to install.
