    Default Need help : Cpanel error when trying to login !!!

    HI guys.

    I bought a server a couple of weeks ago, and im sharing the server with a few other guys. Nothing big, its just to reduce costs.

    I?ve been creating accounts with no problem until yestarday. WHM is creating accounts succesfuly, but when Im trying to login into that account via Cpanel, I get the following error.

    NOTE : THIS HAPPENS ONLY TO NEW ACCOUNTS. OLD ACCOUNTS CAN LOGIN WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS

    To be honest your best bet would be to contact cPanel them self to get a much better reply & help.
    It's amazing, being in a community can cause hate. Competitors or not - DDOS isn't cool :)

    Try updating to the latest cPanel version:

    Via SSH input:

    /scripts/upcp --force


    If that does not help, the only people who would be able to help you is cpanel directly via support ticket.


    But hopefully this command should solve your problems

    Are you using default skins? or RV


    Also try:

    /scripts/checkperlmodules


    And if you can get into WHM ( i think you said you could )

    switch from release to current, or vice versa.

    Then you probably have to terminate the accounts that are messed up and remake them


    Also, yeah cpanel is kinda slow.

    Sandin0 thanks, but I realised what is the problem now, but I dont Know how to solve it.

    Its not RV SKINS, cause I tried to create a new account with a default Cpanel skin and i have the same problem.

    I updated Cpanel and then terminate one of the accounts with problems. Then I tried to create a new one and while WHM was setting up the account I got a small error.

    Setting up Frontpage?...
    /home/usernamehere/public_html does not exist or is not a directory!
    WHM IS NOT CREATING THE ACCOUNT REALLY !

    Under /home/usernamehere/
    theres no public_html folder or any other file. Its only a blank Folder. Thats why I couldnt login into Cpanel.

    So the problem is that WHM is not setting the accounts.. it only creates a blank folder !

    Any answer to this ???

    the public_html folder has nothing to do with the reason you cannot login.

    its something cpanel / setting wise.

    Something got corrupted. so you need to speak with your host or cpanel support. sorry
