Just launch the program and it will ask you "would you like to download the update?". (Checks for update on startup).

what about topic icon id , prefix ,tag etc etc? i am unable to find such option in themaposter.

You can request those forums and I'll add them. (use programs request feature). All forums has different icon ids and prefix'es. I will include the tag thing in next version though.
