I'm planning to re-write the Rapidleech script from the scratch using C-Sharp (C#) language so that the pages are in ASP and can be hosted on Windows Hostings as well. I request all the plugin developers,c-sharp coders to contribute your part and we together can accomplish this. That's defiantly not right. First of all PHP is totally platform independent. Unless something has changed within the last 6 months the only thing that doesn't perform correctly is rar/unrar. That could be easily fixed without re-writing the whole code base.
