Image -> Mode -> RBG Color

Double-click the layer and click OK to unlock it.
Thats how i do it.
It is annoying tho, took me a while to figure it out myself.

How to edit GIF images in Photoshop Okay, this probably isn't the most important tutorial and there's probably other ways of doing this however, if you didn't already know... In Photoshop when you open a GIF file it doesn't allow you to add extra layers, nor does it let use brushes etc. This becomes anoying, but I found a very simple way to fix this: 1.
