wow and they did it a few weeks after Google TV was released. Copy much? I mean who's will sell the most? The way I see it every market Google enters, Google wins. Good luck to Apple.

Apple didn't copy anything or anyone. Learn a few things on how Apple "works" and get your facts straight before posting such a statement.

Going off topic but Google didn't win the Social Network market with Orkut, it's link shorting service http://*******/ has failed to launch after months, Buzz hasn't replaced MSN.

It could easily work. Apple products are generally designed with ease of use in mind and that's what's important with TV's. Computers are a different story where people using them generally have some knowledge but an 80 year old granddad who's never used a computer will still want to use the TV and this is where Apple could work as their easier to use.
Apple have a great brand as well and their products always look better. Having an apple product is a status symbol as well and some people just prefer this over features and functions.

Yes I know a few things and ill quote the first paragraph.

Could the next Apple TV be right around the corner? According to a tip that Engadget received, the next Apple TV is a ?doozy.? Apple's new set-top box is apparently rumored to have been in the works for longer than Google TV.

It says its apparently rumored to be worked on longer then Google TV. Meaning there not sure it is 100% true. The way I see it is Google released theres a week or two earlier so that means one of two things.

1) Google works faster
2) Google started first

When it comes to technology competing companies get ideas from each other, which some say is copying. Its the way it is. The best example I can give is gaming. Sony releases an exclusive game, then Microsoft will get there own exclusive game that is similar. You might be a big Apple fan but don't jump over my comment.

Continuing your off topic comments, the link shorting service is for corpal companies. I did some reading trying to find out. It indeed has failed to launch however if it doesn't launch did they fail in that market? Buzz has not replaced MSN but did Chrome replace Firefox? As you saw yourself Chrome is certainly becoming popular.

Yes Apple products are generally user friendly. At the same time I saw the Google one it also looks very simple yet powerful. I don't really see the targeted market towards 80 year olds and will make a very small percentage. I could be wrong, it could be the number one seller in nursing homes for all we know. It will be good to see who comes out on top if these TV boxes even become popular.

Yes, Google works faster and releases an unpolished versions first (Android anyone?), whereas Apple does the opposite.
